1 Sqn 'Tigers' Patch

Tigers go back in time as long as the IAF does, forming the first squadron with the Wapitis in 1932. From Hurricanes in Imphal to Mirages in Balakot, 1 Sqn has remained at the forefront of every war or operation that RIAF or IAF has taken part in. The squadron boasts of a staggering array of aircraft operated and presently operates the Digital Delta - Mirage-2000. Tigers are also an honorary member of the NATO's Tiger Association.
