2 Sqn is one of the oldest units of IAF, started out in the early 1940s at Kohat with the Wapiti. Just like 1 Sqn, it also boasts of a staggering array of aircraft flown and also has the unique distinction of having operated the HAL Ajeet. Today, the Winged Arrows operate the Su-30 MKI, ready to take on any threat that develops against the country.
